The CivicJobs National Education Award is presented annually to a person who is studying local government, public administration, public policy, or a related discipline at a Canadian post-secondary institution. To be eligible, a student must be employed by a local government, or by a non-profit organization that supports local governments in Canada.

Complete the online application, including an employer’s letter of support and a transcript.

Applications are accepted between February 1st and March 31st. Following the selection process, awards of $1,000 are paid directly to recipients in June.
