INSTRUCTOR I - SKATE

Up to 20 Casual Positions

G.R. Pearkes Recreation Centre is recruiting up to 20 casual Skate Instructors who will be responsible for providing direct instruction, leadership and program management.  This includes planning and preparing assigned programs; instructing assigned classes; evaluating participants; record keeping and public relations.
 
Requirements include completion of Grade 10; three months experience in skating instruction; a satisfactory police information check no older than 6 months; and Emergency First-Aid and CPR C, as required. Successful candidates will be required to work varying shifts including evenings, weekends and nights (hours/shifts are subject to change).
 
These are C.U.P.E. Local 2011 positions with a wage of $24.14 per hour plus 15% in lieu of benefits.
