Position Overview
The Sunshine Coast Regional District is currently inviting applications for the exempt full-time position of Operations Engineer. We are looking for an experienced professional to join the team. Under the general direction of the Assistant Manager, Utility Engineering, the Operations Engineer provides leadership and engineering support to the divisional engineering in a range of engineering design, environmental projects, subdivision and development referrals and project management related to operational and capital projects in the Infrastructure Services Department.

Compensation and Hours of Work
 This full-time exempt position includes an annual salary ranging from $95,215 up to a merit maximum of $120,923. This position includes vacation that starts at 4 full weeks, and a full benefits package that commences upon employment. Benefits include extended health and dental coverage, paid sick leave, family responsibility leave, short-term disability, group life insurance, eyewear, eye exams, long term disability benefits and accidental death and dismemberment coverage. We are currently operating in a hybrid work environment with flexible work schedules based upon a 35-hour week, all by mutual agreement.
