INSTRUCTOR III – WATERFIT

Up to 4 Casual Positions
 
Saanich Commonwealth Place is seeking certified waterfit staff who ensure that participants are acting in accordance to facility rules and that the facility and equipment are in safe, working condition. Waterfit Instructors will be responsible for providing leadership for waterfit programs. This may include planning and preparing assigned programs; instructing assigned classes; evaluating participants; record keeping and public relations. 
 
Requirements include completion of Grade 10;; certification and training in area of instruction; Emergency First-Aid and CPR “C” as required; and a satisfactory Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Check (PIC-VS).
 
Successful candidates will work varying shifts, primarily weekday mornings and evenings and weekends (hours/shifts are subject to change).
 
These are C.U.P.E. Local 2011 positions with a wage of $28.51 per hour plus 15% in lieu of benefits. Job description and competition information can be found at www.saanich.ca.
