This is technical, clerical and drafting work in the gathering and preparation of diverse information relative to a variety of municipal planning matters. The work entails collection, analysis and interpretation of data in the development of housing policies and programs, including in the subject area of Tenant Assistance; planning, coordinating, administering and delivery of the program’s services; conducting investigations and studies; liaison with a wide variety of internal and external contacts; and prepares a variety of related reports, analyses and correspondence and establishes and maintains files and records. Performs related work as required.

Qualifications include completion of grade 12 supplemented by technical courses plus sound related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Considerable knowledge of the bylaws, department policies, practices and procedures governing the work performed. Sound knowledge of graphic presentation methods and techniques applicable to municipal planning work. Ability to perform work with minimal supervision; to explain and apply various bylaws and procedures and to assist various contacts on matters related to the work; to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of internal and external contacts. A valid Driver’s Licence for the Province of British Columbia is required.
