INSTRUCTOR I - TENNIS

Up to 2 Casual Positions
 
The District of Saanich is seeking Tennis Instructors to assist with the delivery of tennis programs including summer camps and lessons at Cedar Hill Recreation Centre.  This position will be responsible for teaching camps, group and private lessons for children and youth.  The Instructor will also ensure that participants are acting in accordance with the facility rules and that the facility and equipment are in safe, working condition. 
 
Ideal candidates will be energetic, committed, reliable and come with a friendly attitude and a love for teaching people of all ages. The successful candidates will be required to work varying shifts including evenings, weekends, and nights up to 30 hours a week. Hours/shifts are subject to change depending on program registration.
 
Requirements include minimum completion of Grade 10; three months experience in the area of tennis sport instruction; satisfactory Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector check (PIC-VS); and must have or be able to obtain Emergency First-Aid and CPR-C. 
 
This is a C.U.P.E. Local 2011 position with a wage of $23.32 per hour plus 15% in lieu of benefits.
