Come join a great team for some fun in the sun this summer!  Langley City is looking for enthusiastic fitness instructors to teach Aquatic Fitness at our Al Anderson Memorial Outdoor Pool. The successful candidates will design and instruct safe, effective, fun and appropriate Aquatic Fitness classes to meet the needs of our patrons.  The assignments start May 15, 2023 and end September 1, 2023.  In - Service training is May 4, 2023 (Time to be determined).  Applicants must be available for this date as well as for instructing these sessions:
 
*Spring Aquafit Classes May 15 – June 28
*Summer Aquafit Classes July 5– August 30
 
Shallow Water Aquafit
Monday   7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.
 
Deep Water Aquafit
Wednesday    7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.
 
Aquatic Fitness Instructor or equivalent and a current Emergency First Aid Certification and CPR-C are required.  Applicants should have strong leadership, organizational, communication, and customer service skills.  Details of the position and requirements can be found in the job description at the following link: https://langleycity.ca/cityhall/employment

The rate of pay for this CUPE position is $27.59 - $32.19 per hour (2021 C.U.P.E. rates) plus 12.5% in lieu of benefits.   Hours of work will depend on programming and operational needs.
