Clerk - (All Departments)

(.75 Position)
The Town of Oliver is looking for a positive, energetic and knowledgeable individual who thrives in administrative and service based work to provide clerical support in all of the Town’s Departments (Municipal Hall, Finance, and Public Works). The successful applicant will be a quick learner, have excellent organizational skills, be able to manage priorities in a fast paced environment, be able to switch between tasks and departments sometimes on short notice, be able to work independently and also be able to communicate effectively in a team environment. Solid related clerical/administrative/financial experience is required to be considered.
Coverage will generally consist of work allocations that may be regularly scheduled days per week to assignments that vary in duration from days to weeks. The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to adapt to a variety of clerical functions in various Town departments. Successful applicants will not be seeking full-time employment but instead be comfortable with a .75 position with an irregular schedule.
Candidates being considered will be required to complete mathematics and Microsoft testing.
Salary Range  $26.41 - $30.61 (CUPE Collective Agreement)
Benefits  Permanent part time employees are eligible for benefits listed in the CUPE Collective Agreement on a pro-rata basis.
