Community Safety Advisor
A Community Safety Advisor provides consultative and facilitative leadership and support in roles ranging from advocate, educator, convenor, capacity builder to coordinator. Community Safety Advisors are skill-based employees providing subject matter expertise in areas related crime prevention, community safety and sense of safety.
Qualifications
- Diploma in related discipline (Community or Social Development, Criminology, Public Administration or equivalent)
- Bylaw Enforcement and Investigative Skills Level 1 and 2 (Justice Institute of BC or recognized equivalent)Attention to Details
- Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) Level 1 or equivalent experience
