About the Opportunity
Our growing Fort St. John branch is looking to add an IT Technician to support our branches in the Peace Practice, as well as provide support to our other branches company wide. Working alongside our team of IT professionals, you will carry out a variety of duties in computer software and hardware support services and some computer programming/scripting. You are the first point of contact for branch staff and need to be comfortable and proficient in dealing with a wide variety of issues and people.

Coupled with the unmatched learning and project experience opportunities, some of your key responsibilities will be:

  • Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting PCs, Windows servers, printers, network devices, and peripheral equipment.
  • Providing technical support to staff in Fort St. John, and Dawson Creek primarily, as well as acting as a contact person for our branches in Saskatoon and Winnipeg.
  • Installing and supporting common office and engineering software applications.
  • Supporting corporate network infrastructure as required
  • Providing excellent service and technical support to staff


The opportunity to work flexibly and from home does exist, although, there is a need for someone to be commonly present in the office to support daily inquiries or attend face-to-face meetings. Therefore, the individual would need to reside in the Fort St. John area.

About You
Our ideal candidates are graduates of a Computer Technology diploma program, with three or more years of related experience. Those with less experience will be considered if their experience is in a relevant field. Experience in administering a Microsoft environment would be considered an asset. We are also looking for the following skills, strengths, and interests:

  • You are comfortable travelling to other branches on a regular monthly basis to provide service to our growing teams.
  • You are self-directed and take the initiative to get things done.
  • You possess a valid class 5 driver’s license
