PROGRAM ATTENDANT II – WEIGHT ROOM

Up to Five Casual Positions

Cedar Hill Recreation Centre, Gordon Head Recreation Centre, G.R. Pearkes Recreation Centre and Saanich Commonwealth Place are looking for Program Attendants to keep the weight room safe and clean for all patrons, interact with the public to answer questions and provide information on the use of equipment and contribute to a friendly, positive and healthy atmosphere.
 
Requirements include completion of Grade 10; one month teaching experience in a related activity; certification related to the activity supervised; Emergency First-aid and CPR C and a satisfactory police information check with vulnerable sector. Successful candidates will be required to work varying shifts including evenings and weekends (hours/shifts are subject to change).
 
This is a C.U.P.E. Local 2011 position with a wage of $21.46 per hour plus 13% in lieu of benefits. Job description and competition information can be found at www.saanich.ca.
