INSTRUCTOR III – INDOOR CYCLE

Multiple Casual Positions
 
The District of Saanich is seeking instructors for indoor cycling classes. The successful candidates will develop and teach indoor cycling classes to a range of ages and ability levels, in a studio setting. In addition the instructor must be able to greet and set up participants on their bikes and prepare the room and equipment necessary for instruction. Instructors ensure that participants are acting in accordance to the facility rules and that the facility and equipment are in safe, working condition.
 
Requirements include completion of Grade 10; three months indoor cycling experience; certification in accordance with Industry Standards (i.e. BCRPA Group or Strength Training Module); satisfactory police information check and Emergency First-Aid and CPR-C. This work involves varying shifts including evenings and weekends. Ideal candidates will be available to work varying shifts including weekends and evenings (hours/shifts are subject to change).
 
This is a C.U.P.E. Local 2011 position with a wage of $26.30 per hour plus 13% in lieu of benefits. Job description and competition information can be found at www.saanich.ca.
