As the Human Resources Business Partner, you will provide general HR guidance and services to City departments including recruitment & selection of employees as well as partnering with Managers on employee relations and performance management. You will also ensure compliance with Collective Agreement requirements and other applicable legislation.
You have experience in general HR functions including experience in recruitment, employee relations and performance management. A post-secondary degree in HR or Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience. A CPHR designation and experience in a union environment is an asset. You have strong interpersonal skills, enjoy solving problems and have a strong focus on customer service. You are detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously.
