Town of Kentville

Chief Administrative Officer

Are you looking for a Town that is a Breath of Fresh Air? You may find it in Kentville Nova Scotia. Just an hour west of Halifax is a town of 6,200 friendly people in the urban core of the Annapolis Valley. A thriving centre for business, health care, education and industry, all this activity is nestled between rivers, farms, orchards, and vineyards. There is a lot to celebrate here, and generations of residents have an annual tradition to gather during the week-long spring Apple Blossom Festival. Folks from across the province come to play with the quirky Pumpkin People in October but you might enjoy other signature events putting this Town on a national stage on a regular basis. Whether you are young or young at heart, you will find something to do at the many recreation facilities including a full-sized baseball diamond, three softball fields, six soccer fields, an outdoor pool and splash pad, an arena, natural playgrounds, nature trails, and much more. Between our charming downtown, special events and festivals, and our natural wonders, Kentville looks forward to meeting you and having you over for dinner.
