Applications are invited for Casual Recreation Workers for a variety of programs in the Recreation, Culture & Community Services Department at Langley City. We are looking for enthusiastic recreation workers for various recreation programs for all ages, such as cooking, dance, badminton, basketball, floor hockey, soccer, arts, crafts, summer camps, and community special events.

Recreation Worker 1: $17.33 – $18.70 per hour (2019 C.U.P.E rates)
Recreation Worker 2: $18.90 - $20.51 per hour (2019 C.U.P.E rates)

Up to 40 hours per week (depending on assignments)
(Monday to Sunday; hours and days of work will vary including afternoons, evenings and weekends depending on programming and registration.)
Casual employees are paid 12.5% of their regular earnings in lieu of benefits and paid annual vacation.

Applicants should have strong leadership, organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Experience in instructing, coaching, recreation, summer camps and completion of High Five training is desired. Current Emergency First Aid certification will be an asset for these positions.
