Up to two Auxiliary Relief Positions

The District of Saanich is seeking up to two friendly, creative and reliable Program Attendants who will be responsible for facilitating recreational activities to ensure the safety and enjoyment of members of the Cedar Hill Social Club.   The Program Attendant will be responsible for performing hosting duties including welcoming members, keeping accurate attendance and initiating participation in activities. The successful candidate will also ensure that participants are acting in accordance to the facility rules and that the facility and equipment are in safe, working condition. 

The ideal candidate(s) will be expected to interact with members to create an inviting inclusive environment and be interested in working with older adults.  

Requirements include completion of Grade 10; satisfactory police information check; Emergency First-Aid and CPR-C as required. Computer and AV experience is considered an asset. The successful candidate will be required to work varying shifts including weekends. (hours/shifts are subject to change).

This is a C.U.P.E. Local 2011 position with a wage of $14.37 per hour plus 13% in lieu of benefits. Job description and competition information can be found at This is an open until filled posting.
