(Full-Time Permanent Position)

Located on the bank of the Peace River in the Rocky Mountain foothills of Northeast British Columbia, the District of Hudson’s Hope is one of the oldest settlements in the Province with approximately 1,015 residents choosing to make the ‘Playground of the Peace’ home. Originally settled by fur traders and gold miners.  The local economy is largely based on energy, forestry, oil and gas, agriculture, guide outfitting, eco-tourism, and local hydroelectric dams.   

The District of Hudson’s Hope is current inviting applications for the position of Corporate Officer. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Corporate Officer is responsible for performing a variety of professional administrative duties in accordance with Community Charter and supervises a department of four unionized staff members.
