The City of Coquitlam is seeking a one year temporary full-time Work Control Clerk to join our Facilities team.
Reporting to the Office Supervisor, you will be responsible for creating, checking, entering and verifying data on the computerized operations management system, payroll and financial and related reporting systems; invoice administration; creating and maintaining a variety of manual and computer files and reports; responding to telephone and email inquiries; and undertaking special projects and assignments.
The ideal candidate will be able to work under general supervision; speak distinctly and courteously while handling public enquiries; exercise considerable independent judgment and action; maintain effective relationships with a variety of internal and external contacts and have experience using a computerized maintenance management system, payroll software and invoicing administration experience.
These attributes will be matched with a completion of the 12th school grade including or supplemented by commercial, accounting clerical and introductory personal computer courses, plus sound related experience; OR an equivalent combination of training and experience.
The CUPE hourly rate for this position is $25.31 to $29.74 (2019 rates), plus 6% in lieu of benefits.
