The Recreation division provides innovative recreational and cultural programs and services that support healthy active living to meet the needs of our community. We are seeking candidates with excellent customer service skills, cash handling experience and problem solving skills which are essential to this position. As a Registration Clerk/Receptionist, you will assist with processing admissions, membership sales, program registrations, and receive payments. Sound knowledge in a front office environment, telephone, keyboarding/data entry skills, computer knowledge and, at minimum, completion of Grade 12 is required. Customer service experience is key for this role.
You can anticipate a lively, fast-paced environment plus opportunities for personal and professional growth. Work shifts typically involve a combination of times on weekdays, weekends and evenings. Candidates must be available evenings and weekends until 10:00pm.
The CUPE hourly rate of pay for this position is $22.48 - $26.36, plus benefits. Applicants under consideration will be required to consent to a Police Information Check.
