We are looking to add to our team of passionate and dedicated engineering professionals a Project Engineer who will play a key role in managing and planning our water systems in meeting our objectives of our “Ten Year Servicing Plan”.

Responsibilities
  • Will conduct water infrastructure planning, coordinate and manage consultants in studies, and oversee consultants and contractors to implement capital construction works to meet the City’s short and long-term needs.
  • Develop and manage the water hydraulic model, recommend infrastructure upgrades, provide input to water servicing plans in new development areas.
  • Review servicing requirement for land development applications, in addition to a variety of other technical and project management assignments for the Engineering Department.
  • Develop and implement demand management initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications
  • You will have either a Master’s or a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Registered with EGBC as an Engineering-in-Training. Status as a Professional Engineer is considered a strong asset.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field of civil engineering.
  • Municipal experience is considered a strong asset.
