West Vancouver Community Services is accepting applications for a Piano Instructor to teach our Summer 2019 Group Piano Lessons from July 8 to July 26 at the West Vancouver Community Centre. The successful candidate will have professional training in music, substantial experience as a piano instructor, knowledge of community recreation philosophies and instruction techniques, and experience working with children and adults. Desirable qualifications include a university degree in music or an equivalent combination of education and experience. All applicants must provide a cover letter, curriculum vitae (resume), and a sample lesson plan for each class or program to be taught. The successful candidate will be required to supply a police information check and a copy of their credentials.

Position Status:
Non-Union – Casual

Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday (approximately 1:30pm to 3:00pm)

Rate of Pay:
$30.00 – 40.00 per hour plus 4% in lieu of benefits
