We are currently seeking self-motivated, responsible and well organized administrative professionals to work project, vacation and sick leave assignments as they arise in various departments and at various levels in our organization. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to contribute to the many talented teams we have within the organization.
The primary responsibilities include customer service, typing and general office administration. The successful applicants will perform a variety of clerical work requiring the ability to work independently, while supporting the needs of a busy department. Days and hours of work are anytime Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Hours are usually predetermined and cannot be guaranteed.
Qualified candidates will have completed Grade 12, possess knowledge of modern office practices and procedures, experience with operating office equipment including a computer terminal, an accurate and efficient typing speed, proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel and the ability to make sound decisions.
A CUPE hourly rate ranging from $20.84 to $27.45 (the rate will depend on which position is being covered and to which extent), with 12% in lieu of benefits is being offered. Applicants under consideration will be required to consent to a Police Information Check.
