Engineer in Training

$78,801 to $98,502 Annually
The Engineer in Training position will provide practical experience towards achievement of a Professional Engineering designation by providing opportunities to contribute to the Engineering and Public Works department and the Transportation department
We are seeking an outstanding individual to provide project management and contract administration on Capital and other projects while assisting in administering and maintaining engineering specifications, procedures and bylaws along with asset management and long-term planning of City infrastructure, including water, sanitary, roads, drainage and dikes; district energy infrastructure development, including coordinating with private developers for district energy utility connections.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Previous work experience in a Civil, Electrical, Transportation or Mechanical Engineering setting is preferred.
