Emergency Management Program

Applications are invited for the Regular Full-Time position of Clerk Typist 3 to work in the Emergency Management Program based at the Langley City Fire Department. The Clerk Typist 3 reports to the Fire Chief and works with the Emergency Management Program Co-ordinator and volunteers providing administrative support in the Emergency Management Program for both Langley City and the Township of Langley.
RATE OF PAY:
Pay Grade 12: $26.37 to $27.40 per hour
HOURS OF WORK:
35 hours per week

The successful candidate will have superior computer skills including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Knowledge of Adobe, eDocs DM Document Management System and social media such as Facebook and Twitter is an asset. Knowledge of Emergency Management B.C. and Emergency Social Services and experience with volunteer coordination would be an asset.
