$40.50 to $47.82 per hour
This is a technical engineering position at the sub-professional level involved in performing specialized design tasks and in carrying out technical investigations and supervising design programs relative to a variety of engineering projects. The work includes the administration and project management of budgeted projects from preparation of the required design through to completion of the construction phase, and may involve the supervision of work that is performed.
We are seeking an outstanding individual with sound knowledge of municipal engineering design principles and methods, drafting techniques and procedures as they relate to Engineering practices relative to the preparation of plans, specifications, contract documents, tenders, quotations, and related matters.
Qualified candidates will have completed Grade 12 plus graduation from an Institute of Technology diploma course in a relevant engineering program, supplemented by considerable experience in municipal civil engineering design or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Including being registered or eligible for registration with the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians (ASTT) of British Columbia as an Applied Science Technologist (AScT).
