The City of Coquitlam is seeking enthusiastic, personable, energetic and outgoing fitness professionals to complement our health & wellness team. These casual positions are responsible for the planning and execution of community based fitness classes at the City of Coquitlam recreation facilities. We are looking to bring on general fitness instructors to join our team to instruct a variety of class styles (i.e. boot camp, cardio kick box, aerobics, HITT etc.)
Requirements – Candidates are required to be available to work mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
- Current BCRPA Fitness Certification currently registered as a Fitness Leader in Group Fitness or equivalent certification/registration accepted by the City of Coquitlam.
- Current First Aid, CPR C/AED Certification
- Cycle Certificate
The range of pay is $25.00 - $30.00 per hour.
Ongoing casual opportunities are shortlisted and filled on an as-needed basis only.
