Reporting to the Divisional Director of the Infrastructure Division, the Integrated Transportation Department Manager provides strategic leadership and manages a multi-faceted transportation department responsible for the delivery of transportation planning services and programs, including leading the Sustainable Transportation Partnership of the Central Okanagan and managing the BC Transit operational contract.

The ideal candidate is a proven influential leader with a thorough knowledge of transportation engineering, planning, technologies and trends, with excellent communication, teambuilding, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff and build strong working relationships/partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders to advance corporate and council priorities.

You are a registered Professional Engineer with EGBC (or eligible for registration) with a degree in Civil Engineering, with extensive experience leading and delivering transportation plans, projects and solutions, preferably with a background and understanding of both the municipal and private sector.
