 Technical Services Supervisor

Regular Full Time Position

The Facility Operations Division is recruiting for a regular full time Technical Services Supervisor position. This position performs skilled and technical supervisory work pertaining to the operation and maintenance of various building systems and associated equipment throughout the Saanich municipal buildings, including ice plants, heating plants, filtration systems, air handling systems, pumps, motors, fans and other equipment supporting business operations. The successful candidate will also supervise and give functional guidance to maintenance employees employed in other municipal buildings.

Requirements include Grade 12 or equivalent; Pool Operators I and II courses; Certificate of Qualification and Certificate of Apprenticeship in a related trade; five years of experience in physical plant maintenance including swimming pool, ice rinks including one year experience in a supervisory capacity; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including word processing and spreadsheets; satisfactory Police Information Check and a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence. Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
