Building Service Worker

$23.92 to $28.01 per hour + 12% in lieu of benefits
Do you enjoy working in a service-oriented environment? At the City of Richmond, we all work together to deliver quality service. As a Building Service Worker, you will perform work in the cleaning and minor maintenance of City of Richmond buildings. Manual cleaning and operation of powered cleaning equipment, and taking inventory, ordering, distributing of supplies throughout the facility are some of contributions and difference you will make. If you have sound knowledge and experience in janitorial work, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and strong interpersonal skills, we are looking for you. - High school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by completion of a recognized Building Service Worker Certificate.
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience in janitorial work.
- Ice Facility Operator Certificate or Higher is desirable.
This is auxiliary work with varying hours. Successful candidates will be available for graveyard shifts in varying lengths, typically between the hours of 12:00am and 6:00am.
