Position Overview: 
The Port Moody Community Services Department is currently seeking Fitness Instructors for a variety of programs.  These casual positions are responsible for planning and implementing a variety of fitness classes including spin, aerobics, bootcamp, cardio kickbox, pilates and yoga with program locations at Kyle Centre and Port Moody Recreation Complex. 

Requirements:
Candidates are required to be available to work afternoons, evenings and weekends.  

Please note that employment with the City of Port Moody is subject to the receipt of a satisfactory police records check. The posting will remain active until the position has been filled.   

Basic Qualifications:
Completion of grade 12 and experience teaching fitness programs is required. Current BCRPA Fitness Certification or equivalent is required plus current CPR and a Level 1 First Aid certification. Specialty Module Certifications are required for certain programs (Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, Pre-Post Natal, Yogalates, Spinning and 3rd Age).
