After serving in the Municipal field for more than 30 years, our CAO is retiring, and the Rural Municipality of Dauphin is now seeking new leadership for the next phase of its advancement.
The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) is the administrative head of the Municipality and provides effective advice and support to the Reeve and Council in developing, implementing, and executing policies and strategies.
As the successful candidate, you will deliver solid leadership to the established Senior Management Team and Municipal Staff. The ability to work effectively with Elected Officials, joint partnerships, boards, committees, and the general public is essential in this role. As a Leader, you are approachable, ethical, professional, and possesses strong communication skills.
The successful applicant will have a post-secondary education in a related field, or a combination of relevant training and senior leadership experience. Technical skills in municipal administration, financial management and human resource management will be considered an asset. Further professional development will be offered to ensure your success.
