Systems Analyst II

Regular Full Time Position

The District of Saanich is seeking a Systems Analyst II to join our innovative IT team.  Your role as an experienced IT technical expert is to operate and improve district wide IT services and to ensure consistently high performance of enterprise technology infrastructure that is critical to the organization.  The successful candidate will have deep technical knowledge in a wide range of infrastructure topics including server and storage administration, database/middleware support, and network support and will be able to collaborate with and manage vendors in those domains.  You should be a natural problem solver, enjoy working in a collaborative team environment and be committed to providing excellent customer service. 
Requirements include: University Degree in the field of Computer Sciences or Information Technology with four years experience in related roles within Network Support;  possession of a current (2012 or later) MCP, MCSA/E or CCNA and a valid Class 5 BC driver’s licence.  ITIL Foundations certification would be an asset. Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
This is a C.U.P.E. Local 2011 position with a wage of $40.54 per hour and an excellent benefits package.
