Our client, the City of Saskatoon, is seeking a high energy, exceptional individual to take on an exciting opportunity as the new City Manager. This is a unique opportunity for someone with the right stuff to play a key role in shaping the community by leading, inspiring and empowering employees to achieve the City’s strategic vision.
This influential and relationship-oriented individual will be the Chief Executive Officer and Administrative lead with overall strategic responsibility for the City’s operations. Reporting to the City Council, this key leader will be instrumental to the City meeting its future direction and the needs of its citizens through services such as leisure centres, recreational programming, public transit, water and electrical utilities, construction, parks, roads, fire, protective services and urban planning.
If you are a community-focused individual, and you’re a strategic and engaging senior leader with outstanding people, communication and relationship-building skills, you’ve got our attention. If you add the know how to build and lead highly successful teams that deliver consistent, high quality outcomes, we need to talk.
You’ll need a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field and at least ten years’ experience in a diverse senior management role. Having a Master’s Degree and public-sector experience will float your resume to the top; however, an equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered.
