TransLink is currently seeking:
  • 1 Project Manager

This position plays a key role within the System Planning department of the Planning & Policy Division, reporting to the Manager, Transit Network Management.

The focus of the Project Manager position is to lead the development and implementation of several strategic projects that are crucial to implementing the Mayors’ 10-Year Vision. The Project Manager will help the organization improve current bus service policies and practices and lead region-wide review to ensure we deliver on corporate priorities. The work will include coordinating implementation in collaboration with internal TransLink and operating company departments, as well as consultation with local municipal staff consultation with stakeholders. The Project Manager role will require managing projects/plans in development, evaluating different business models, business case analysis, and risk assessment, and a background in business strategy, strategic planning, transit planning or urban/regional planning.

We are looking for a transit enthusiast with transportation planning and service design knowledge.  Experience in transit planning for a transit agency, consultancy or associated body is appreciated. General urban or regional planning experience is also considered an asset.

Recruitment Process:  An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for these positions by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process.  A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.

Work Schedule:  37.5 hours per week.

Salary Range:
Project Manager: CAD 83,407 – CAD 104,259 per year
