Duties:
  • Responsible for the financial management of all aspects of the Town of Grand Falls-Windsor
  • All other duties as outlined in the Town of Grand Falls-Windsor Job Description Manual
Salary:
            As per Town of Grand Falls-Windsor Salary Scale (Job Class 10)
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with concentration in Accounting, with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a municipal environment or equivalent
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a Senior Accounting role
  • CPA designation is required
  • Thorough knowledge of Municipal Accounting environment
  • Well-developed Human Resources skills and must be team-orientated
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Programs (Excel, Access and Word)
  • Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
  • Valid Driver’s License as issued by Province of Newfoundland and Labrador
