This is the perfect role for a team player with working knowledge of ice making, refrigeration and resurfacing operations, including the ability to operate the associated equipment. As well as someone having skill and working knowledge of materials, methods and equipment used in janitorial and building maintenance and the ability to perform a variety of building and equipment maintenance duties and routine repairs.

The successful candidate will have a 5th Class Power Engineer Refrigeration Endorsement (preferable) or Ice Facility Operator Certificate, valid Driver’s License and a Designated St. John’s First Aid Certificate or equivalent.

A CUPE hourly rate of $25.27 - $29.66 plus benefits is being offered.  Applicants under consideration will be required to consent to a Police Information Check.  Please upload a recent driver’s abstract (within the last 30 days) with your application.
