The City of Campbell River is seeking a full-time Programmer for our Adult, Outdoor, Special Events and Community Outreach programs.

The rate of pay for this CUPE bargaining unit position is $27.81 per hour based on a 35-hour work week and includes a comprehensive benefits package. What else? The Campbell River Recreation and Culture Department:

Through collaboration and partnerships, you will develop, plan and coordinate a variety of programs focused on adults, outdoor, special events and community outreach. You will need to be flexible and open to rotating into other program areas for developmental opportunities and to provide support to other teams. Our ideal candidate is a dynamic leader who is responsive to community needs, can build and lead cohesive teams and also be an effective team player.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A two-year Diploma in Recreation, or closely related field
- Two years recent supervisory experience
- Three years recent experience planning, scheduling, marketing, and promoting of community recreation programs and services.
