Field Services Foreman
Full Time, Permanent Exempt Position
Position OverviewReporting to the Environmental Services Manager, the Field Services Foreman will provide project management support, fulfil procurement requirements, develop operational maintenance plans for assets, develop employee work and safety plans, and provide leadership in the field.
This position, based out of the PRRD Warehouse in Dawson Creek, is also accountable for managing Regional District and contractor delivered services, including: maintenance of PRRD solid waste and recycling infrastructure; water and sewer operations; parks maintenance; community hall maintenance; rural recreation facilities maintenance; Regional District buildings maintenance; and vehicle and equipment repair and maintenance.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have five (5) years’ experience in the public works field at a management or leadership level. An Environmental Operators Certification Program (EOCP) for small waste water systems is desirable. The successful incumbent will have the ability to communicate effectively both written and orally, as well as be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and the interpretation of data.
A Class 5 Driver’s Licence is required, while heavy trailer endorsement is an asset.
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
Additional Information
The hours of work are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with one hour for lunch.
