Water Meter Service Technicians

The City of Kelowna has an opportunity for you! Join our Utility Services Department and bring your outstanding customer service skills with you!  As a Water Meter Service Technician, you’ll be providing front line customer service through maintaining, installing, testing and repairing water meters throughout the City. Having knowledge and experience in meter pit maintenance and repair, and the ability to work in confined spaces is a must.  Plumbing knowledge and experience is considered an asset.

We are seeking candidates for a Full Time Permanent position, and a Full Time Term (up to 6 months).

Qualifications include:
  • Backflow Assembly Tester Certification
  • Excellent communication skills & attention to detail
  • Computer literacy with multi-tasking and data entry skills
  • Ability to pass and maintain a Criminal Record Check
  • BC Drivers Licence – Class 5
