Burnaby Aquatics are seeking enthusiastic and conscientious auxiliary Recreation Attendant 1s to work alongside the Aquatics team in our facilities (Eileen Dailly Pool). In this role you will be on the frontline, ensuring a fun and safe environment while supervising and guiding patrons with use of the water slide.  Other duties will include maintaining facility cleanliness, ensuring patrons are adhering to the rules and policies of the water slide, assisting the aquatic team in emergency procedures, completing reports related to daily tasks and performing related duties as required.

Bronze Cross Lifesaving Award and Standard First Aid Certification are desired. The successful candidates will promote water safety while working in a team environment and will have experience dealing with the public, along with strong customer service and communication skills.   

Must be able to work a minimum one shift a week within the following hours:
  • Monday to Friday  5:00 PM to 9:00 PM  
  • Saturday & Sunday  12:30 PM to 9:00 PM
