Are you looking for a job leading high quality recreation programs for children? Our dedicated and dynamic staff team is looking for others who share our goal of putting children first! In this role you will use a positive approach to independently plan and lead after school programs that are fun, safe and inclusive.

Candidates should be passionate, enthusiastic, with strong leadership skills and a commitment to recreation. Experience in coaching, tutoring, or volunteering in recreation or a childcare leadership environment is considered an asset. Education and training including Recreation Leadership or Therapeutic Recreation Diplomas, Teacher Certification (PDP), Early Childhood Education, Child and Youth Care, High Five® and experience working with children and youth with disabilities are desired. Successful completion of Grade 10 is required for Assistant Program Leaders. Successful completion of Grade 12 is required for Program Leaders.

Successful completion of Emergency First Aid (8+ hour equivalent) and CPR ‘C’ is required.

Successful applicants must be available to work a minimum of two weekday afternoons between 2:30-5:00 PM.

Hourly wage:
Assistant Program Leader: $19.27 + 12% in lieu of benefits. 
Program Leader: $21.66 + 12% in lieu of benefits. 

The opportunity will remain open until filled.
