As a member of the recruitment team, the Human Resources Support Assistant 3 is responsible for clerical work involving a variety of support services primarily for the Recruitment Team.  If you are looking for a challenging and high paced opportunity – this position may be for you! 

As part of our dynamic team, this position assists with reception responsibilities, which include answering questions from both City staff as well as the public.  The role is pivotal in supporting the recruitment team in preparing job and social media postings; scheduling testing and interviews; and assembling new employee documentation packages. The incumbent will prepare, update and maintain a variety reports, statistics, correspondence and records as well as other duties as required.  This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the place where you work! Superior customer service skills are vital to the role along with a strong attention to detail, adaptability and the desire for continuous and active learning. This role requires someone that can take initiative and handle high-volume requests while continually managing their workload. The ability to think on your feet, perform duties with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgement are essential.  Teamwork in a fast-paced environment is also a critical component of the work. Experience in a unionized environment would be an asset.

Grade 12 supplemented by additional courses with 3 years related office experience, preferably in an HR environment is ideal. Intermediate skills with MS Office Suite are required with Adobe Suite being an asset. If you want to work with an exceptional group of people, then this may be the job for you!

Hours of work: 70 hours bi-weekly; Monday to Friday.
