To ensure we deliver exceptional results to our residents and other stakeholders we are recruiting for a talented individual to join our engineering team. We are seeking a dynamic individual with team-oriented leadership styles, outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills, project management capability and a broad range of experience.
Manager of Engineering and FacilitiesReporting to the Director of Engineering and Operations, this position will oversee and supervise a small team of professional and support staff to assist you in executing development and capital projects, including design and installation of municipal works and services, and annual and long term plans and budgets. Work will include oversight of multiple buildings and facilities and management of their related assets. This role also includes procurement and contract administration related to engineering and facility projects. You will have input into hiring and overseeing work performed by staff, and consultants, ensuring adherence to quality control standards.
Preferred candidates will possess a P.Eng designation in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (preferred), and broad related experience, including five years of progressive supervisory responsibility either within a municipal setting or engineering firm with a project management focus.
