As a member of our Environmental Services team, you will be responsible for implementing a wide variety of environmental stewardship related projects that include environmental monitoring, field assessments, inspections and investigations. In addition, you will develop and implement public education and environmental outreach campaigns, and will supervise regular and seasonal staff engaged in outreach, public education, investigation and bylaw enforcement activities associated with environmental programs. You will participate on a variety of internal and external committees and provide input and advice regarding environmental programs and regulations.
Along with a positive attitude and an ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, the ideal candidate will have completed a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, or a related field, and have a minimum of three years’ of related experience. A valid BC Driver’s license is required.
A CUPE hourly rate of $37.97 to $44.83, an additional 6% in lieu of benefits and an earned day off program are being offered. Please apply online by 5 p.m. on July 19, 2019 at www.coquitlam.ca/jobs
