This is digital marketing, online customer service and administrative work on an auxiliary basis in assisting in the production of promotional materials to support campaigns and public engagement activities. The Marketing Assistant supports the Digital Team by posting updates to various social media accounts, replying to online inquiries using pre-approved responses, monitoring reviews on third-party sites, maintaining surveys and updating websites; assisting in gathering a variety of data and posting updates to various databases. In addition, the Marketing Assistant maintains related records and statistics; assists in the production and online distribution of email announcements and media releases. Performs related work as required.

Qualifications include completion of Grade 12 including or supplemented by courses related to the work (Digital Marketing and Communications) plus sound related experience, preferably with some experience in online customer service, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Thorough knowledge of business English and grammar is required. Considerable experience with social media management systems (ie. Hootsuite), e-mail and online survey platforms, website content management systems, and databases (i.e. CLASS) are assets, along with proficiency with MS Office.

Experience with general office duties in a marketing department is desired. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with a variety of internal and external contacts and to liaise with existing and potential customers. Driver’s License for the Province of British Columbia is required.

Currently our team is looking for individuals who can work anywhere between 21-35 hours per week. Typical hours for this role are 8:00AM to 4:00PM, between Monday - Friday.

Pay Rate: $25.31 per hour + 12% in lieu of benefits.
