Programmer II - Older Adults Services

Regular Full Time Position

If so, then you might be right for our team!  The District of Saanich is looking for a Programmer II who can lead the Older Adults program as it expands its services. This position will provide direction on the implementation of a strategic plan, supervise staff, monitor budget and develop community partnerships that will enrich the lives of Older Adults.   

Requirements include a University Degree in Recreation, leisure studies or related field; three years of experience in recreation programming; satisfactory police information check and a valid Class 5 B.C. Driver’s Licence.  The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends and evenings as required. Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

This is a C.U.P.E. Local 2011 position with a wage of $42.63 per hour and an excellent benefits package.
