We have an exciting career opportunity for an experienced water quality professional for the position of Manager, Water Quality. The successful candidate will have a valid BC driver’s license, a degree in Water Quality or related field, and be a registered Technologist with ASTTBC or a similar professional association. Five years water quality experience in local government or an engineering firm is required. EOCP certification will be considered an asset.
You are a team leader with excellent interpersonal and public relations skills. Your knowledge of local government water supply systems includes a thorough understanding of the Drinking Water Protection Act and related regulations.
Reporting to the General Manager, Utilities, the Manager, Water Quality will provide leadership and management in the areas of water quality, water quantity and water conservation. This position directly supervises three full time technical employees and works closely with other department managers with operational monitoring of utilities.

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $85,000 to $93,000, dependent upon qualifications and experience, as well as an extensive benefits package and compressed work schedule.
