Plan Your Career

If you're looking for a rewarding career, with opportunities that few can match, you've come to the right place.

Using the broadest definition, local governments include cities, towns, villages, First Nation communities, counties, regions, and other local bodies. Local governments provide citizens with elected representation at a community level, and they provide important community services. Those services may include, but are certainly not limited to: community planning; parks and recreation; water and wastewater; garbage and recycling collection; streets and sidewalks; and police and fire protection.

Delivering local services takes skilled and dedicated people. People with a strong sense of community who want to make a positive difference. People like you.
