TOWNSITE MANAGER III
PARKS CANADA AGENCY
Full-time position - Jasper National Park of Canada

This high profile position is responsible for working collaboratively with the Municipality of Jasper to achieve results in the implementation of the Jasper Community Sustainability Plan; representing Parks Canada on all realty and municipal matters including asset re-capitalization investment; developing and administering capital projects and operating cost recovery procedures; managing human and financial resources; and leading the development of initiatives to enhance relationships and increase influence with stakeholders, residents, commercial, recreational and visitors groups, municipal and provincial governments.

To be considered for this position you must have a university degree from a recognized university with acceptable specialization in Business, Urban Planning, Public Administration, or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Significant experience is required in:
• The provision of municipal services
• Land use planning and development control
• Leasing and licencing of public lands
• Managing programs of public involvement and advice
• Management of human and financial resources
• Intergovernmental relations.

Who may apply: persons legally permitted to work in Canada living within a 1300km radius of Jasper, Alberta in Canadian territory.

Annual salary: $83,603-$95,591
Language: Proficiency in the use of the English Language is essential
